The Native American population in Maryland represents .03% of the population as a whole.  When compared to the prison population, where Native Americans represent .5% of the Maryland inmates incarcerated, these statistics are alarming and a clear indication of the break down of the support structure in the Indian community.

Our prison outreach helps incarcerated community members remain in contact with family members and resources such as church members, substance abuse services and supportive housing upon their release.

The East Baltimore Church of God is available as a referral source for prison visits to Native American clients requesting Christian counseling.
